Feasting on Heaven's Good News
John 14:2-4 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” There is great temptation when you start the path of life to turn back toward the earth rather than to keep your eyes on heaven, but only by keeping your eyes on heaven will you enter into the presence of God fully. The above scripture in John says that Jesus is gone to prepare a place for us in the Father’s presence. I have had many dreams of the father's table in heaven. It is filled with the nicest china and crystal I have ever seen and everyone at the table sits in the presence of the Lord. This is a mystery of heaven. We are all seated with him and you never feel like a stranger at his table. He has place there with your name on it. When we enter into the identity of sonship things begin to fall from our life that once concerned us. We become more like Christ and therefore begin to understand that we are not orphans tossed to and fro upon the mighty waves of human desolation. We become partakers of the eternal inheritance in Christ. The ladder into heaven is designed just for you and the land that is there isn’t a land that lacks any good thing. You will taste and see that the Lord is good. I have tasted delicacies presented to me by angels in dreams. I always tell people to never turn down something that is presented to you in a dream. This is the manna of heaven and when digested it enters into your spiritual DNA so that you become more like heaven than earth. When we keep our eyes on earth and our heart feeds on the negativity that comes from broken humanity we will not have the strength to make it through. Yes, for a time you may seem to be doing ok but eventually there will come a moment when you breakdown. Because the ways of this world are unto death and no life can be found in human wisdom. The manna that comes from heaven is real and it is revelation and wisdom to help you make it through your life. As long as you partake of that manna you will be strong. God’s word is like the gas that you need to get from place to place. You will go from glory to glory which really are encounters with God and his word. As you live in encounter you will be changed. I have learned that the key to being relevant to the people in the Kingdom is to hear God’s voice clearly. When you receive a word from Christ and release it to the people they recognize his voice. Jesus said that in John 10:27 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” When you release the sound of God’s voice into people’s hearts it becomes like a refreshing rain. It produces joy and hope. When they encounter that they are changed. So in seeking him for revelation you will be strengthened yourself and you will become strength to many. When you receive manna from heaven you will experiencing a lot of unlocking of doors. Doors that were shut for your entire life will begin to open. Even things that were locked to you from generations pass will begin to open. You will enter into a greater pasture than your fathers and mothers when you begin to put the Lord first. Our parents may not have listen to the Lord and therefore didn’t learn to walk in the fullness of the Kingdom on earth and this really is what we want to achieve. We want to walk in the fullness of the blessings that only come from Christ. When our mind is transformed by the work of Christ daily we place ourselves in a position to receive the revelation that we need to enter into the promises. God will show you what he wants you to have and this will come with great satisfaction for the one who receives it. It is when our mind drifts back into the patterns of this world that our heart becomes dissatisfied again. When we begin to meditate on the things we lack or the evil that has been done to us. These will only hurt you. We must forgive those who curse us and despitefully use us and we must repent of every sin. God will lead us to refreshing as long as we are obedient when he speaks. Obedience is better than sacrifice, so begin new today. Listen to his voice and step into the path. You will not be disappointed. Your life will be very full.
