Harry the Finance Angel

Most of us encounter angels but don't realise it. Darren often meets angels in different contexts of ministry and his life with the Lord. He shares about some of them in his book Angel Parade. This article is an excerpt from that book. Encounter Five: Harry the Finance Angel Genesis 24:40 “And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with you, and prosper your way; and you shall take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father's house.” Abraham, when he was looking for a wife for his son, sent his servant into the land of his ancestors and told him that an angel would go before him to make his way successful or to prosper his journey. As I was standing there considering the gold suddenly a spirit rose up in the midst of it. It took the form of a hand and started to move toward me to grab me and squash me. In that moment fear tried to take a hold of me but then I started to speak to it. I screamed at it, “The Father said that I should get enough for my journey.” When I said this the hand that had been plunging toward me lost all its power and fell to the floor. It then came back to life as a powerful angel that took the form of a tiger and stood beside me. It shined with heaven’s glow. It then turned into a massive muscular man and began to walk with me. This angel was over 8 or 9 feet tall. He had the most pleasant look on his face. I understood that this angel of prosperity was now walking with me. In another dream I encountered this angel again, but this time he was in a different form. I don’t remember much detail regarding this vision except that I knew that the angel in front of me was a banking angel from heaven. He was dressed like a business man on earth. He had very tailored clothing that you would see on people who worked on Wall Street. His hair was perfectly groomed. He was a happy fellow but very serious. I asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Harry.” I thought, “what a strange name for an angel,” but when I looked it up the meaning of name it meant “ruler, ruler of an estate, or home leader.” It was the perfect name for an angel of prosperity. I felt that Harry was assigned to our family to help prosper it in the same way that Abraham’s angel prospered his family. Perhaps this is a stretch for some of you, but for others who see poverty and lack in your life I am sure this brings a lot of hope. My prayer for you today is that God will assign angels over your life to bring in the resources that you need to carry out God’s will in this earth. I also pray that there will be a prosperous and joyous spirit over your family and all your relationships. I ask the Father to prosper you and bring you joy in every way.
