God Blesses the Work of Our Hands

Psalm 90:17 ESV

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!

Proverbs 22:29 ESV

Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.

These are scriptures that I live by. I love to work and I love to work hard. I have been doing that since I was a young man. I find that when I work hard and see the labour of my hands I feel deeply rewarded.

I have built a life for myself and for my family. I didn't have much when I was young except the promise of the Lord that He would bless the work of my hands. This entered into my spirit when I was very young in the Lord. It was as if the Holy Spirit breathed the truth of this into me. He said, "If you will work hard, whatever you do, then you will be favoured in it."

A part of the blessing of Deuteronomy 28 is that in obedience to God we will find favour and blessing in everything we do. We will be blessed when we come in and when we go out. We will blessed in the country and in the city. Our produce and our livestock will be blessed. This is the work of our hands.

God wants to bless your life but you have to be a part of that. You can't sit around expecting everything to be given to you if you do not work. Here are some scriptures pertaining to the lazy man or the sluggard

My greatest blessings came from my hardest work. My greatest recognition came from the work that I did that nobody else knew how to do or would do.

Jesus has work for you to do. Faith without works is dead. There are things that you will do for Christ. He will lead you into them and as you do them they will be fruitful, but you have to hear His voice. You don't want to enter to dead works or the works of your own vain imaginings.

As I have waited on the Lord He has given me wisdom and understanding. He has given me dreams and visions. As I have stepped into His dreams and His visions then my life has been truly blessed. I work hard for the Lord but He blesses me overwhelmingly.

I became a Social Media Minister very early in the days of social media. I worked very hard studying how to develop an apparatus to reach people all around the world for the gospel sake. The things that I learned to prosper my life came to me by revelation but then I had to put my hand to the plow and do the hard work of developing what the Lord had showed me.

We are co-labourers with Christ. He inspires us to do great things.

Alternatively if you are lazy and expect everything to be given to you don't be surprised when this does not happen. The bible has much to say about the person who is lazy. Here are a couple of verses that I memorized when I was a teenager.

Proverbs 20:4

The sluggard does not plow after the autumn, So he begs during the harvest and has nothing.

Proverbs 24:30-31

I passed by the field of the sluggard And by the vineyard of the man lacking sense, And behold, it was completely overgrown with thistles; Its surface was covered with nettles, And its stone wall was broken down.

I have had many men and women sit with me to try to learn from me the things that I do to reach the world for Christ. I am glad when the Holy Sp[irit leads me to do just that. i have sat with dozens of people. Through Social Media I have trained many people to do what we do. I am glad to do it. I see that as a seed that I am planting that will grow.

We cannot reach the nations alone. We have to do it together. I have friends who had no social media ministry when I met them that are now well known within that realm because of the things that they have learned to do from me and from many others. I didn't do this for t hem. They had to learn to do it themselves. And as they entered into what the Lord was saying for them, He also blessed the work of their hands.

We have to many people wanting everything to be given to them without working for it. These people love playing the lottery each week just to dream about what they would do if they won the jackpot. Not too many people get to live that way.

Yet God will bless you. You will have your hearts desire as you enter into the dreams He has for your life.

I pray for you today and ask God to give you a vision of the work you are to do. I pray that He will add wealth to your life so that you will have a blessed home and life. He is able to make all grace abound to you and I know He will.
